I'm kinda tempted to rent Pixar's Fire and Rescue animated flick when it's available through Netflix. I understand a lot of effort went in to making the planes fly realistically.

If you want to discover something most don't know about airplane go to utube and type in airplane and zero hour.

Airplane wasn't called "Airplane" everywhere. In Australia at least (maybe England too?) it's called "Flying High," which I think is a much better title.

Porco Rosso - How can this one have been missed? An absolute aviation classic!

I second Marty for Dark Blue World - a personal favourite that I saw in the cinema when it came out some years ago. The opening scene spurred me to stop dithering and go get my PPL.
