Warming up the oil faster?

Your article indicates 22 degrees difference between display reading and tank. Sounds reasonable to me. If you are reading 230 degrees, the oil in the tank may be above 250. As I stated before, a 230 degrees reading is on the edge. I feel these are all saying nearly the same thing. A reading of 200 is a good area to be in. With the thermostasis oil therm, the oil in the tank will be more than 20 degrees higher in very cold weather. I don't have to worry about it getting warm in the tank. Thanks guys.
 
Installed the thermostats P6-H-190 with the (beautiful made) oil lines made by Tom Swearengen from tsflightlines.com.
Haven't run the engine yet. I will post the difference in warmup time somewhere next week (after completing the 25 hour inspection).
