Vinyl weight

Next up vinyl weight. Sorry, no thread for vinyl.
15.5 grams per ft² for 3M 2080 installed with the clear protective plastic removed
It works out to an estimated 12lbs on my airplane.
That's just aluminum. Fiberglass is painted.

Add a couple ounces for paint in areas that you can’t cover with vinyl. Things like the flap well and flight control ends. Vinyl only works on the big flat surfaces.

Done. All my fiberglass is painted. Cowl, canopy trim, windshield trim, pants, fairings, wing and empennage tips. Way too difficult to wrap. Today I primed the fuse area where the steps will be installed so hidden corrosion won't start forming. Also painted the wing root fairings. Plan may be working out after all! :D
