Speaking of batteries, a buddy of mine installed a plug on the belly from the battery that he hooks up to a small float charger every night to keep the battery topped up. I am going to do the same, but put the float charger in the tailcone so all I have to do is plug the airplane in using a standard extension cord. Weight penalty is less than a pound (and I need tail weight anyway).
