Surefly or Emag?

They're running a sun and fun special, one mag is about 500 hrs, thinking of pulling the trigger.

Any positives or negatives on each? I know surefly requires ship power and emag is self sustaining once running.

I went with dual e-mag. The only downside possibly not being able to hand prop with a dead battery. (Which i would never do anyway).

Which one is running a special? In the market myself....

I have one of each on my plane
The sure fly is maintenance free
The Emag is supposed to be removed at each condition inspection
At my last inspection there was play in the shaft that required sending it in for repair.
It’s a bit of a pain to remove it every year.

I believe Emag has come out with a 500 hr. inspection on their mags. Existing 100 hr. inspection mags can be overhauled to the new 500 hr. interval.
