Thank you guys! Yesterday after 6 years and 2 days I passed my final Inspection. On Sunday I will have a flight with another RV-8 in Switzerland and then some landing training on a CAP-10B/C... So very soon my bird will have its first flight!
amazing fit and finish. I really like the photo with the raw timber building and the Homebuilt label on the side of the canopy. that photo should make the calendar. please submit it to Van's as I would like to see it hanging on my wall for a month.
No I will wait, we have a very talented air 2 air photographer and I will do some in-air pictures as soon as I can fly.. We (in Switzerland) have far better backgrounds to offer than this timber hangar.

This timber hangar is quite a historic piece. It was built in 1924 and after the second world war moved to the current airport in Basel (LFSB). For a very long time a advertising panel from Lucky Strike was mounted and thus up to now its just called "Lucky" hangar.
