OP High: what am I missing

so yesterday I take off with OT at 90* and 2700 RPM oil pressure is 88. Fly for 20 minutes and do a T&G. On application of full throttle my OT is now 160 and OP jumps to 100, which I have never seen before on this engine. I have a pressure transducer, not the VDO with the classic read high on failure. My first step is to replace the tansducer, but wondering if there is something that I am missing here. Struggling to see how the regulator can make the pressure go higher than normal without changing anything. I suppose a downstream blockage could have occurred. I did recently remove the prop to replace a leaking oring.
 
What did your back-up OP read??


That is extatically why the only duplicate engine gauge I have, is oil pressure.
