Most HP for the buck.?

which is why i'm surprised someone hasn't tried to bolt one on an rv10?
If they have an engine mouint and cowling for a rocket, how hard would it be to put one on an rv10? Now we're talking $$/wt/hp that makes sense.

The M14 radial is a very thirsty engine fuel wise. It has a tendency to make a hangar floor oily (use a pan underneath), and you'll need to make room for the scuba tank to start it with compressed air. But other than that, these engines are impressive when running.

I shared a hangar with one for 2 1/2 years.

The newer models that they are putting on the Pitts Model 12 are not necessarily the way you remember them. Nice and clean, and their specific fuel consumption is not too far off a standard LyContosaurus.
