Last weekend Mike Patey and Juan Brown had a very well done webinar about mountain flying and density altitude. Having lived in the Colorado mountains and Idaho, DA is always a hot topic.
Mike lost 4 friends lately and was emotional. One story he told I believe it was about a 172 that the minute they turned up the canyon they were not coming out. RV's have better power ratios than a 172 but DA is not forgiving.
