I need some advice on SB505B. A friend has an O-360-A1A hollow crank that was bought new in 1996. It has a fixed pitch prop and 700 hrs but only about 10hrs per year for the past 8 years. I believe the SB says it needs inspected within 10 yrs of being shipped which is over 10 yrs past due. What is involved in doing the inspection and what have those of you with this situation done?
