IFR repair station in Houston

Any recommendations for an FAA repair station in Houston area that can do a IFR altimeter / transponder check? Would prefer one that has experience with the Garmin system.

For my last few static/transponder checks I’ve used a local Houston guy, Duane Jones. He has a hangar/shop at Hooks DWH, but he can travel to other local airports as well.

I used Jones Avionics on my last check in July; he's good to work with. If there are others at your field that need the same, he can make it work where he comes to you. He traveled to do my last check at my hangar, with two others at my field on his list for the same trip. Once people heard he was coming, three or four others jumped on the bandwagon.

The check before that was with Avionics Unlimited at Conroe / Lone Star Executive. I'd recommend them as well.

Temple Avionics at KAXH can do the work. I used them for the last check on my 8.
