Garmin 3GX vs Amploc Key100 Hall Sensor

Guys, just hooked up my Amploc Key100 hall sensor which is sensing my alternator main wire.
But I'm just bewildered by the many calibration settings. Agreed, I might have missed something from the 997 pages manual...
The connections have probably made correctly, but the displayed value is way off, and the calibration page offers an array of options of which I have no clue

Anyone with the required settings at hand?

The Amploc is wired as follows:
Pin 1 supply to pin 11 POS 3 Hi / +5V_3
Pin 2 ground to pin 12 POS 3 / GP 3 / FUEL QTY 3
Pin 3 output to POS 3 LO / GND

The configuration option I chose is Main Bus Apps Hall.

Now the 30.4.32.15.1 Electrical Current Calibration on page 682 of the AU manual version lists all parameters such scale factor, amps offset and so forth... no clue.

Guess i'm over simplithinking things, but since i'm using the Amploc Key100 hall sensor, as Garmin recommends, I was expecting a set of configuration settings readily available... it is only a current measuring device after all

Configure for 15.9 MV / AMP signal.

The Amploc is wired as follows:

Pin 3 output to POS 3 LO / GND

If this is accurate then I think you need to switch your wiring to pins 2 and 3 on the current sensor. The ground pin needs to be connected to ground, and the output pin needs to be connected to the GEA 24 input pin.

Amploc Key100 Hall Sensor Bracket

RVPLASTICPARTS now makes a holder for the Amploc Key100. Allows you to wrap the sense wire around the "Donut" almost as many turns as needed. Works well and holds the connector securely in. This is an early mock-up so fit, and finish might not be as nice as current products.

Now mine resides nicely put in a standard cushioned clamp.
