Ferry flight of 912ULS powered craft best practices

Greetings,

I am ferrying a newly purchased 912ULS powered Savage Cub home for a friend.

I have never operated a Rotax engined aircraft and am looking for a bit of guidance or any gotchas that may damage the engine or cause me to land in a treetop.

I have read through this Operators Manual;
http://www.flyrotax.com/portaldata/5/dokus/d05649.pdf

With most things, there is stuff that important that is not in the book.

The previous owner will not be any help for reasons not discussed here. Suffice it to say, that is the reason for sale.

I have read through a few threads here, but feel free to direct me to your favorite and avoid having to retype it again.

Thanks for the help, Tim.

Second the aircore recommendation

Jim scott just completed my 200 hour check on the 912 uls in my rv 12. They know what they are doing and are very fair with cost.
