Drawbacks to a quickbuild?

I placed the order for the QB wings and fuselage this morning. Now I have to wait for up to 6 months to receive them. Hopefully I don't have to wait that long but it will give me time to figure out the engine. If can get that out of the way, I can get the finishing kit shipped with the wings and fuselage.

Even with the poor weather conditions I was able to get a demo flight in a 7A with a 200hp engine. I am looking forward to having my own to fly, just have to spend the next few years building it.

Congrats. QB will definitely shave some time but there is still plenty of work to do. Have you built the empennage yet?

A QB kit will help but there is a lot of thing s to do after the airframe is done, the finish kit alone with gear fairings, wheel pants canopy ect.....then look at all the wiring......panel......FWF, baffles.....off plan stuff.....90% done 90% to go is no joke!
