Looking for a CFI for checkout in RV7 in Charlotte NC area. I have over 500 hours of tail wheel time with 150 in RV8. Any recommendations greatly appreciated

What and When?

I am guessing you are trying to satisfy insurance if you have 150 RV8 hours. How many hours is insurance requiring and when do you need it? I may know someone but he travels for work.

Contact the Charlotte EAA chapter 309. See if Randy Utsey is still instructing.

He built an RV-7 and kept it for a number of years before buying into a Bonanza.

Call Kent Gorton in ATL. He comes up to CLT all the time and has a LODA to instruct for RV’s and the insurance companies know him.

Also..... Do you know what the colors and brand name of the paint on 4333RV is, or color numbers, are. I may need to repaint a portion if I redo the cowl fasteners.

I will call paint shop and see of I can get brand. Colors are all Lexus 2017 colors

white is Eminent White Pearl 2017 Lexus

blue is UltraSonic Blue Mica 2.0 2017 Lexus

Gray is Nebula Gray Pearl 2017 Lexus
