Canopy Install?

What's the trick to getting the canopy installed? I tried taping the hinges in place on the rear panel so the aluminum brackets could be slipped into the slots in the hinges, but they keep moving. Seems like the canopy has to be in the fully up position to make this work, but, it's not.......

Can you post a couple of pictures. your question makes it sound like these components are not installed. If they are then the canopy front hooks just slide onto these. The canopy is in the up/open position when you attach it. The Gas springs should also be attached.

Yep. All installed. But, the hinges move inward as the canopy is inserted which makes it difficult to get the notches onto the pins at the same time.

Without pictures its hard to see what you are having an issue with so guessing here. The hinges should be really hard to move by hand if they move in when you are inserting the canopy there's something going on. The bottom of the canopy hook should slide in onto the bottom of the hinge. Then the canopy is rotated up so the hole on top corresponds with the jettison pins
