Brake Line Firewall Penetration

Could someone post some pictures of how the brake lines penetrate the firewall. Thanks in advance.

Sorry Rob, I don't have any pics, but you want to penetrate the firewall somewhere behind the brake pedals in the lower outside corners of the firewall. Use an AN833 fitting to penetrate the firewall and then route the tube down the gear leg.

I recommend using AN3 size hose and fittings rather than AN4, and consider flex hose rather than solid AL hose for better long term durability.

Oh, and don't install those leaky plastic supply lines and reservoir, use the A-600 mini reservoirs from Spruce that mount directly to the master cylinders. A few more comments here.

Used the individual cylinders that Randy recommended. Plastic snap bushings in the fuselage sides and again in the cheek cowl bulkheads. Van's plastic brake line to half way down the gear legs, then Ace Hardware brass unions and aluminum tubing to the brakes. Simple, easy and light.
