I recently had my Bendix King autopilot display say PROCESSOR ERROR.
I shipped the unit to Mid Continent Instruments for repair.
I reinstalled my rebuilt unit, and when powered up and engaged the autopilot.
The stick went crazy.
I contacted Mid Continent for help, they went through a whole set up procedure and gyro calibration
over the phone.
This did not help, so they built up another core autopilot head and shipped it to me.
Same problem with this unit. Mid Continent was very helpful, but now they were as baffled as I was.
My hope at this point was to find a new unit as I know my servos and wiring were fine.
Last ditch effort was to somehow talk to Andrew Baker as I had seen him solve all problems.
Andrew had me send him a video of my dancing stick and he found the problem immediately.
The pitch and roll servos were running backwards. Went into the set up and reversed the servos.
Problem Fixed. Thank You so much Andrew.
