Folks,
I just replaced my Plane Power alternator with and ND and an LR3c external voltage regulator from B&C.
I have wired the low voltage light to an existing LED indicator (that matches the rest of the indicator lights in a neat little row), and the LED stays lit. Funny, that's exactly what the install manual says would happen if you use LED versus the incandescent light it was designed for.
Can I wire a solid state relay in place of the incandescent light and power the LED from there?
Seems to me it should, but I'm no electronics expert.
I'd really like to preserve my indicator light arrangement.
Thanks
