Aircraft Specialty Flightlines Install Guide Update - Looking for RV Builders

Aircraft Specialty

Well Known Member
We wanted to provide an update to the RV builder community about some exciting changes we are working on in regards to our installation kits as well as planned product documentation updates.

About 18 months ago we simplified the ordering structure for kits on our website by bundling packages so builders could select one brake kit and one fuel kit which would cover all firewall aft needs.

Our next step is to modernize the way we do installation instructions. We are going to improve upon the "A picture tells a thousand words" by eventually going to a more video based installation guide format. This is where we need your help. We know there are builders out there that are as meticulous with video documentation as they are with their build quality. We are going to be offering discounts to builders that are willing to help with producing video install guides for our drop in component kits.

Right now, we are very early on in this process. We currently only have commitments on two different components kits. RV10 Fuel hose kit #3 and RV10 Brake hose kit #6.

If you go to this page

https://aircraftspecialty.com/rv10products.html

Open up the brake kits page and click on the install video for RV10 Brake hose kit #6. This video is an example of the level of quality and detail we are looking for from builders to be a part of this program.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts/feedback Please send an email to [email protected] if you have any questions or are interested in working with us.

GREAT Idea

Steve:

Kudos on the (prototype) video instructions- much easier to follow, especially by establishing context, and referring to the Vans Kit Assembly Instructions.
