17-02 Wing Skin question

Figures 2 (outboard wing skin) and 3 (mid wing skin) show leaving a row or rivets open just below the leading edge. I did that, and just finished the wing. No rivets ever got placed there. Did I miss an instruction or is the KAI wrong or do they not actually get rivets? I expect it's #1, but I can't find it.

You only needed to leave them open until you installed the W-1202 mid skin in step #5. At this time you should have put them in.

The ones I had open on no where near what was done at that step. I think it's a glitch in the plans. Already found several others where later revisions obsoleted some instructions.

I installed those rivets in 17-03 Fig 1 step 2. It instructs you to fill any remaining rivet holes called out in Fig 1.
