Reattaching coax connector on Princeton senders

Hey all,

I need to reattach a ring connector to the coax cable on one of my Princeton senders (don't ask why :D). The install manual cautions against cutting the cable and recommends calling Princeton if needed, but their tech support isn't always timely...so has anyone needed to modify the coax on their sender or attach another connector? If so, is there anything special I should look out for?

Thanks in advance -

Dave

Not familiar with the product. However, by shortening the coax you're probably decreasing the total base (empty) capacitance. How long is the coax? Cutting 1/2" off it probably won't make a difference. Worst case you'll have to re-calibrate.
