what kind of canopy is easiest to in stall and works the best, tip-up or sliding?
They each have aspects where they perform better than the other so it depends on what your priorities are.

Of those that have built at least one of each style, I think we would all agree that the slider requires a bit more effort to achieve a high quality level of fit and finish, but do not be fooled into thinking that means the tip-up would be easy.
Ask any RV builder what the hardest part was to build and they most likely will say the canopy (well except maybe for RV-14 builders 😏)
