TXP fault

Good Morning, I have a G3X touch, GPS175, and a GTX35R. The plane has about 120 hours. I was flying around the other day shooting approaches and I got a transponder fault message and the GTX 35R went to standby mode. I landed at the airport that I was shooting the approaches and shut down. When I restarted the fault was gone and everything worked perfectly for the next couple of approaches and the flight home. I have the latest G3X software 9.14. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this?

Go into G3X configuration mode, click on the Transponder button, and double check that the correct model transponder is selected. Might fix it, and if not, it's an easy check.

I'm not sure, but I think that on one of the software upgrades, the old, incorrect transponder selection quit working. Either that or the new software changed the setting for me...
