Throttle cable length

Just found another gotcha on my new pride and joy.
The throttle cable was routed directly under the engine sump and has melted itself to the sump. The plane has a standard panel with a quadrant. Looking at the archives it looks like they used to ship 47.5" now the spare part name appears to suggest 49.5”.
Does anyone know the actual length needed?
There is a suggestion to go 3rd party and design your own as you get a higher temp version. Push-pull has been mentioned with a part no But that appears too short on both length and throw (vans suggest throw of 2 1/8” while mention has been made of 2 1/4”)
Regardless of getting the stock or better heat resistant one i will wrap it in heat resistant sleeve and aluminium.
Build date was circa 2010.
