Just and shout out and public thank you to the Ray Allen Company. I have a older RV4 kit I am finishing (the second owner) and it came with a Ray Allen G101 grip with a PTT for the radio, which yes had been sitting for over 10 years, maybe 15 or more as it was the older style micro switch. It created static on the radio as if the switch was dirty - who knows maybe overheated when I soldered the wires to the very small terminals.
Anyways, when I called Ray Allen to find out if they knew of a source of the switches, he just sent me a new micro switch that screws into the bottom of the knob for shipping cost. The new switch works great.
Thanks - and that is the type of company I will do repeat business with.
