solid rivet tool ques...

hey does anyone know where to buy one of these solid rivet tools... I need one for doing a STC.

for solid rivets. one is rather small
other one is same size as brake rivets...sizes below

MS20426A3-3 Rivet diameter = 3/32, length = 3/16 type = 1100 Soft
MS20426AD5-5 Rivet diameter = 5/32 length = 5/16 type = 2117 Hard

A rivet cutter cuts a long rivet to a shorter length. Rivets need to be the proper length to set correctly.

The tool that's used to set the rivet is called a rivet squeezer. As it squeezes the rivet from both ends, it forms the shop head, which holds the rivet in place.
 
Solid rivets need to be set with a squeezer or a rivet gun and bucking bar or riveting plate. It kind of depends on the situation what tools you need and where to get them. There is not enough information in the initial request to give a good answer.
Riveting tools are available from Aircraft Spruce, ATS, Yardstore etc.
5/16 dia rivet will require a heavy duty squeezer or 3X gun, at minimum.
Some rivets can be set with a hammer and drift on a back riveting plate, by a skilled person.
