Sniffle valve drain line routing + new style nosegear

Vans OP32 RV-7 IO-360 Fuel System drawing suggests routing for the sniffle valve drain:

This is a short piece of rubber hose connected to 3/8" aluminum tube routed aft (so the sludge drips aft of the cowl). This routing is probably fine for the older style nosegear, but with the new style nosegear, there are clearance issues, and I cannot find a satisfying way to route the tube:

Of course, the tube shakes around along with the rest of the engine, and easily makes contact with the engine mount. Evidence:

Has anyone figured a more clever routing of this aluminum tube? Or tried anything else, like rubber hose all the way back? Ideas? Does Vans publish an updated drawing for the RV-14 and new style nosegear?

This seems to work good for me. Right through the firewall flange with a short aluminum section.
