Running wires laterally beneath floors?

Wiring runs!
The aileron trim and flap motor/position sensor are on the Port side of the fuse, but so is the battery cable (aft mounted battery, RV8) and fuel valve. I'd rather lead those wires and others up the Starboard side to the panel. So, I'm crossing no man's land through two sub floor beams beneath the aft stick. There are several juicy lightning holes already there.
What's the best way to attach wire bundles on the edge of such holes and protect them as they pass beneath the control linkages?

This is the way the AC43-13 suggests doing it

I found those Panduit Lightening Hole cable mounts. Many distributers only wanted to sell 500 at a time, but Mouser had them individually. Good advice.
