Plane Power Alternator and ACM -- SHOULD BE IN GENERAL FORUM--

In retrospect, it appears I may regret this. Putting a new PP 99-1012 alternator on my 7A. Replacing a B&C with an LR3 regulator. I will be disconnecting the wiring for the LR3 but keeping it in place so if the inevitable PP failure occurs I can switch back fairly simply. That said, looking for guidance from someone who has a PP alternator with an ACM on how exactly they have it wired?

Thanks

---JUST SAW THIS IS IN CLASSIFIEDS, SHOULDN'T BE HERE BUT NO IDEA HOW TO CHANGE ---

It’s very simple, the red wire with jumper on pin 1 and 2 will go to a 5 volt fuse/breaker and a switch (if desired). The B lead goes to the battery as any other alternator. If you want a alternator out light that is the white wire. There is an online install instruction on their website for our alternators.
