Going through the motions of purchasing an RV-4 and am looking for some transition training in a -6. Does not necessarily have to be a CFI, as insurance will take instructor on case-case basis, based on # of hours in type of aircraft, etc.
I have 0 tail wheel experience, and depending on insurance company, I am required either 5 or 10 hrs dual. I DO have access to an aircraft to travel to and from, though I prefer to keep the travel down as minimal as is realistic.
thanks,
Mark
