I am wondering if anyone has experience with a creaking noise in the rocker arm springs. With the plugs out when the prop is rotated to operate the valves the springs on the rocker arms seem to be making quite a lot of creaking noise. This engine was rebuilt about 8 years ago and has been sitting in this "new" condition since then. It was run for about 10 minutes 3-4 weeks ago. All 4 cylinders are making this noise to some degree. The engine is a IO-360-A1B Wide deck. Seems to have nested lifter springs. Any insights appreciated.
