Has anyone come up with a clever way to connect a GDL39 to a "powerbank" style battery such as this Anker PowerCore (link to item on Amazon)
The optional Garmin battery that clicks onto the bottom of the GDL39 series works just as designed and lasts +- 4 hrs as stated in the tech specs. However, its a very slow recharge and only 2100 mah ... most of the powerbanks these days are a minimum of 10000 mah which means a lot more use between charges.
Seems the only thing missing is a custom cable. Is the Garmin connector proprietary?
