Garmin GPS "Hockey Puck" Orientation

Are there any orientation restrictions on the Garmin GPS "Hockey Puck" antenna for the G3X?

I can't find any notes and I have a need to mount one perpendicular to the airframe.

Mine is mounted transverse. No issues.

GPS hockey pucks don't really care which way they are oriented. The externally mounted teardrop pucks with the blunt end pointing forward are to minimize drag (and it looks cool ). The only thing they need is an unobstructed view of the sky.

The new one is square and lower profile, looks like the rounded one is discontinued?
