Fuse quality - watch out

Just ran across this video where a guy tests "no name" automotive blade fuses and name brand Eaton/Bussmann and Littelfuse fuses, and the results are pretty much what you would expect.

Spoiler alert - the no-name 5 amp fuse didn't blow even with 20 amps for over 3 minutes. The Eaton and Littlefuse did.

Wow!! That’s eye-opening. I’m going to check what kind of fuses I have tomorrow. I think they’re Little Fuses, but not sure. My big one is a Bussmann.
