EarthX and G3X set-up questions

MS19087

Well Known Member
At one time i read a post that discussed how the G3X battery voltage limits and alarms should be set. I cant find it. can anyone provide guidance on this? For example, I believe the EarthX puts out 13.5V vs the PC680 which is 12.4V(?).

Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Numbers

Those numbers were directly from the EarthX manual.

Also, 13.5 is an alternator offline caution, not a minimum voltage. The minimum voltage caution from their documentation is 12.6…

13.5v is too high. The normal voltage of LiFePo4 battery is 13.2 V. 13.0V it's about the cells have 40% capacity left. 12.0V - 15-20% left

Just google for a LiFePo4 battery voltage chart
Please provide documentation for the numbers you are providing.

The EarthX documentation specifically states the “normal” operating voltage range of: 12.8-14.6 (page 3 of the manual linked above).
