Champion CFO-100-1 No longer available - options?

Hi, All:
On my purchased Vans RV-7A, the builder put in the oil canister that uses the Champion CFO-100-1 oil filter cartridge, which has been working great, but evidently Champion discontinued this filter cartridge, so I need to figure out a different option. My engine is a Lycoming O-360-A1F6D. Would one of the spin-on filters work without modification, or am I looking at a bigger issue?

look on Ebay. I got a couple cases there a couple years ago. I guess I will have to work out a go round when I run out.
But my luck varies. FIXIT
