To all you Canadian pilots, our fancy aviation booklets/license that replaced the old standard paper license are about to expire starting march 1st 2014. You can apply for a replacement up to 90 days in advance. Please look at your expiration date in the front of your booklet.

mine expired feb 2015....but....

I suppose it bears some attention to see when your medical expires?
I imagine it could cause some grief if your book expired, and your doc did not have a valid one to sign off, unlike the old certificates that were separate.
( or is my memory really failing here?)
anyhow, for some strange reason, they are free to renew, so no reason not to do it a bit early, well before you need a fresh page for your medical.

Mine will be due in September. Happily, my pilot license booklet and passport are up for renewal at roughly the same time, so I only have to go get pictures done once!
