When shopping for ATC fuses, are there brands to totally avoid? I need a little assortment.... Could get all Bussman but they aren't so cheap at Digikey or Mouser when you need a bunch of different sizes.....

I prefer to use Bussmann or Littelfuse.

Assortment packs available. Google “Littelfuse 0094400“ for instance… “Includes 5 each ATO 3A, 5A, 7.5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 30A and 1 tester/puller…”. $15.19 eBay free shipping, item 275396163430. $12.76 eBay free shipping, item 285064512303.

There’s also Littelfuse 094409 but I don’t find it for sale. Includes 10 each ATO 3A, 5A, 7.5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 30A.

BTW in general I don’t see the need for fuses under 5A… we normally don’t use wire smaller than 22 awg which is conventionally fused at 5A but even 24 awg melts at 29A. Even if we had a feeder as small as 24 awg we wouldn’t hesitate to protect it with a 28 awg fuselink which melts at 14.5A.

Littelfuse 094409 is at O-Reilly affordably. Added 25-pack of the 5A and I've got a long-term supply.
