Alternatives to CA1000 from PRC De Soto

I need about 30 grams of this between my Beringer axles and the gear legs. The smallest quantities I find are 6 oz for $80. Are there suitable substitutes in smaller/less spendy quantities?

Called Beringer

They say the CA1000 is not necessary. Any lithium grease is sufficient.
