Airports Near Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood

I might have to go down soon to visit some family. I see three GA airports in the area, Ft. Lauderdale Executive (FXE), North Perry (HWO), and Opa Locka (OPF).

Any recommendations as to which airport to use and which FBO? I was leaning towards North Perry, because it is closest to my destination, but the others would work too. Having the chance at a hangar would be even better!

HWO as destination

It would be a pleasure to have you visit HWO (N. Perry). I know there are a couple of empty hangers on the north side. I will inquire if any would be available for your visit. Just let us know how long you would need the hanger for and when you would plan to arrive. The worst case scenerio would be tieing down at Bobby's Landing. He is very easy to work with. You might call him directly and see if he has room in the big hanger you could use.
