Aircraft IFR Cert requirements

If you you have a G3X and a G5, do you have to cert both or can you just do the G3X for IFR cert?

Part 91.205 (b), (c), and (d) does not state you need dual altimeters.

I believe you have options:
1. Have your pitot-static guy do both (even though it’s extra work, my guy doesn’t charge any extra to write down two lists of numbers).
2. Placard one efis as VFR only.

I think I might have paid a bit extra but why not have them both checked? Unless there is something wrong with one of them.
