All Pistons are labeled 1 to 6 with the number “14D23912” which is Lycoming Part No. 75089

- They were installed on an AEIO-540-D4A5 bearing the Serial Number L-25993-48E which was overhauled at Lycoming (Williamsport, PA) on April 13, 2015.

- It sat until 2021 when it was installed in my RV10. Unfortunately the mechanic who installed it forgot to take out the aerobatic inverted oil plug and ran it for 1 hour. This did not cause damage to the cylinders but did affect the bottom end of the engine.

- the engine was removed and sent to AeroSport Power in Kamloops for assessment. They confirmed no damage to the cylinder assemblies and recommended their reuse. I opted for a complete new engine with higher compression cylinders.

- I kept the cylinders for the past 2 years with the intentions of using them on another project - but have decided against it.

- I have all the paperwork from the overhaul and correspondence from AeroSport Power.

- these are not superior millennium cylinders.

- pictures and supporting information upon request.

What type are they: wide deck or narrow deck?
Was the cylinders new at engine overhaul or were they overhauled too?

I have been informed that a fella by the name of “SAM JOLLY” is attempting to hijack my listing. I am not associated with this fella.

I’m very familiar with these cylinders and the bearing failure with the engine. These are essentially new Lycoming cylinders (not rebuilt or reconditioned). I used “essentially new” because they were brand new when Jay and I flew behind them for 2 short flights before we knew something was seriously wrong with the bottom end of the engine and it needed a thorough inspection. I would buy these and keep them for when I need a rebuild but I have a narrow deck engine in my 10 and these are wide deck.

The ad has been updated with additional information regarding part numbers. I have roughly 44 pictures that I can forward to those interested.
