At Oshkosh AirVenture 2023, I saw an RV-8 that I thought was going to get an award. Not necessary a Lindy but one of the other awards. There were a lot of Judges that looked at it over several days.
The only thing that I found that was not perfect on the airplane was that the N number was not in the required position as defined by 45.25 (b)(2).
Not something most homebuilders may know but it is something that a DAR should know.
