F.A.R. 91.146 rules out any airplane or helicopter without a standard airworthiness certificate for charity flights.

My bad! I should have just taken a look at the username. Thinking about my post, I felt a little bad for not saying up front that canadianf1pilot did a great thing sharing his time and airplane. I really enjoy taking folks up in our RV-6, including Young Eagles. Demi sure seemed to have a positive experience and he did a great job. Here in the USA, F.A.R. 146 is a big killjoy for using flights in experimental airplanes as rewards for charity auctions and raffles. No wiggle room at all. I’ve been asked to provide a ride for a fine charity and was sorry to have to decline. I’m so glad Canada allows this positive activity. Sorry for the misteak!
