Maybe this has been around for a while and I didn't know it but It seems Sling Aircraft may have learned a thing or two from Van's Aircraft on what not to do. Sling offers their Incident - Concerns - Events (ICE) system for reporting issues with their aircraft or kits. Seems a worthwhile tool to get issues reported to the factory.
