It LOOKS like an RV-3, but what's going on with that canopy?

There have been several -3s built with a turtle deck. I haven't seen this particular one. there is at least one here in Texas. The one on e-bay look like a copy of the Turner T-40 canopy. BTW, the turtledeck does very slightly increase the cruise speed on the -3.
