Okay I'll throw up the flag on this one, going from 150hp to 160hp yields a 4-5kt increase at least on the RV-4, so pouring a fuel additive is giving you more than 10hp.....something is off

I would have to agree that it sounds much too good to be true.

Just heard about these kind of things on Car Talk while jogging the other day. Tom and Ray just laughed at the guy who wanted to try them but said something about how they at least kept the infomercial industry alive. Maybe this Aerofusion stuff is something different though.

Tom and Ray made fun of this idea too!

I know nothing about it. Just thought Tom and Ray were funny explaining what they thought about it.

Did some more research on this Aerofusion stuff last night, believe this is a "Magnesium carbozylate based Fuel catalyst".

Years ago (pre-ethanol) a flying club I was in would use a mix of 90% mogas, 10% 100LL. They found that was just enough avgas to prevent or reduce vapor lock on hot days, the engines just ran better. And that much mogas reduced the fuel cost to club members.

Nice sounding words, but what do they mean? Googling turned up nothing. Even changing "carbozylate" to "carboxylate" left me with nothing pertaining to fuel chemistry.

After the first tank full I ran through, the power increase was very impressive, shortest take off I ever had. definitively burning less fuel and my cruise speeds are running about 8 knots higher.
I called in September when I ordered another bottle and spoke to him personally.
He said they have to limit there information they put out on their website till after it has its patents complete. He seems very honest and I will keep using it!
