Differences: AN365-1032 vs AN365-1032A

Does anyone know the difference between a AN365-1032 and an AN365-1032A??? Both are elastic stop nuts.

Vans ships the 1032's with the kit.

I just bought a couple of hundred 1032A's from Spruce.

From the surface, they appear identical.

"A" means it has an nonmetalic insert

Here's a link to the MS20365 Spec. AN365 nuts have been superseded by MS20365 nuts. According to the spec the 'A' after the dash number is for nuts having nonmetallic inserts.

It looks like Vans is shipping 1032A's, but leaving the (A) off the end of their part number.

I just double checked those shipped with the Vans kit and they definitely have nylon inserts in theirs too. Just like the 1032A's from Spruce.

So I think we're good to go. I just wanted to put my mind at ease that they were the same nut.
