Making Progress In "Stubs"

First of all congratulations to John Kohler of Concord CA for competing his round the world trip! I had the privilege to stop in his hanger occasionally while he was building the bird and he told me about his dream. It's now a reality-wow!
As for me and mine, I'm learning how to fly my RV6 "Stubbs" at slow speeds. Performing stalls, minimum controlled airspeed flying and hitting the numbers on downwind, base and final.
I've been flying "Stubbs" from KCCR (Concord CA) to O57 (Bridgeport, CA) to go stream fishing. Flight times of less than one hour are common; time by land vehicle-5 hours!
At this point I'm enamored with the RV6 and can't get enough of flying her. My next goals are to locate a parachute, an experienced aerobatic instructor and begin aerobatics.
